Delicacy and simplicity are the watchwords for this Ruban de laurier tablecloth, but we’re not seeking some laurel-crowned victory, but rather originality and linearity. Hand-embroidered with a petit jour hemline, these ribbons take us back to the Rococo era. However, as a counterpoint to the splendour of the period, we have opted to embroider two lines on linen in two colours, lending a contemporary touch while demonstrating that longstanding expertise can be adapted to any century.
